Welcome to Centennial Farms and Orchard
We are located in the historic town of Augusta, Missouri in southwestern St. Charles County. Our farm is less than an hour's drive from most parts of St. Louis (see our directions page)
The farm has been owned and operated by our family since 1854. We represent the fourth generation and our grandson Gabe Wright, who manages the farm, represents the sixth generation. Our first orchards were planted in 1969 on what had been a grain and livestock farm.
We offer a "taste of history" along with seasonal fruit and good things made in our farm kitchen. Come visit our market in the 160-year old timber framed barn which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Best Apple Crop in 50 Years
The branches are touching the ground, they’re so loaded with apples. After two years of small crops because of frost, the trees are making up for it. The hot summer days helped excellent flavor develop in the apples, and cool nights improve the color. Jonathan, Gold Delicious and 13 other varieties are ripening at Centennial Farms.
On August 27 and 28 you can pick Jonathan, Gala and Ruby Jon. Pick your own apples are priced by the pound, $1.90 a pound, the same as last year.
Hours at the farm are 9:00 – 500 on Saturday and Sunday.
Honey, apple butter and preserves, all made at the farm, are available in the market. The playground has been expanded. Hayrides will start in September. With all the improvements at the farm and other factors there will be an admission charge of $5.00 for all over 3 years old that are picking apples. This charge will start in September.
