Welcome to Centennial Farms and Orchard
We are located in the historic town of Augusta, Missouri in southwestern St. Charles County. Our farm is less than an hour's drive from most parts of St. Louis (see our directions page)
The farm has been owned and operated by our family since 1854. We represent the fourth generation and our grandson Gabe Wright, who manages the farm, represents the sixth generation. Our first orchards were planted in 1969 on what had been a grain and livestock farm.
We offer a "taste of history" along with seasonal fruit and good things made in our farm kitchen. Come visit our market in the 160-year old timber framed barn which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Welcome to Apple Season!
It’s that exciting time of year again – apple season is officially here! Centennial Farms is thrilled to announce the opening of our apple picking season starting Saturday, August 17.
This year, you can look forward to picking the season’s early varieties: Jonathan, Cortland, Empire, Gala and Ruby Jon. All are known for their crisp texture and delicious flavor, perfect for snacking, baking or making fresh cider.
Please note that while we’re kicking off the season with these early varieties, our popular Golden Delicious apples won’t be ripe until September. So if those are your favorites, plan to visit us again!
In a special treat for our visitors, we’re waiving the entrance fee throughout August. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the orchard without any additional costs – just the fun of picking apples and savoring the outdoors.
We’re open from 9 AM to 5 PM every Saturday and Sunday, so there’s plenty of time to come out and enjoy the day with family and friends. Whether you’re a seasoned apple picker or new to the experience, we look forward to welcoming you to Centennial Farms.
Don’t miss out on this delightful start to the apple season – we can’t wait to see you at the orchard!
