The peak of the peach season is here and we have several varieties of yellow freestone peaches coming on. We are now picking Loring which is a large peach with unsurpassed flavor and very resistant to browning when sliced. We have a good crop this year but the trees are still small so we will not have them for long. Fortunately we had a mild winter because Loring is more sensitive to winter cold than any other variety but are the largest peaches we grow. All peaches are sold already picked in various size containers and by the pound.
We will have limited quantities of nectarines and white peaches soon.
Blackberries are finished for the season.
We are open at the farm Tuesday through Sunday from 10 to 4. Closed on Mondays. We are also selling at the Maplewood Farmers Market located at Schlafly Brewery on Wednesday 4 to 7.
Thank you for being a customer. This is our 46th year of selling fruit and our farm has been in operation for 194 years.
