We have picked all of our late ripening apples and have a good supply of Fuji, Arkansas Black, Gold Rush, and Granny Smith. All are good keepers and can last all winter in the refrigerator. We have made our last and best batch of cider for the season containing eight varieties of apples.
There is still a good selection of pumpkins and starting Saturday, October 29, they will be buy one, get one (smaller) free while supplies last. Our playground is open and there are hayrides around the farm on weekends. Fall colors around Augusta are still good and the forecast is for a sunny weekend.
We are closed week days after October 31 but will be open the first two weekends in November. We will be at the Maplewood Farmers Market at Schlafly Brewery on Saturday November 19 from 9:00 to 1:00.
